Sergey Shemet
Biography
1971
was born on July 11 in the city of Oshmyany, Grodno region
1987–1991
study at the art school named after A.K. Glebov.
1992–1998
study at the Belarusian Academy of Arts, department of easel painting.
1998–2001
work at the Minsk Art College named after A. K. Glebov, teacher of painting, drawing, composition.
Since 1999
Member of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
1999–2001
Assistant at the Belarusian Academy of Arts.
2000–2003
academic creative workshops of painting and sculpture under the guidance of professor and academician M. A. Savitsky at the Ministry of Culture of Belarus.
Since 1995
participant of republican, international, group and personal exhibitions. His works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art of Belarus, in the Museum of John Paul II (Krakow, Poland), as well as in private collections in Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Israel, Great Britain, USA.

Scholarship holder of the “Gaude Polonia” program of the National Center of Culture of the Republic of Poland, Academy of Arts in Krakow, Poland.
